Estonian Meteorological Society
The Estonian Meteorological Society (EstMS) is a voluntary association of people interested in weather and climate. EstMS operates in accordance with the statutes of the Estonian Naturalists’ Society at the Estonian Academy of Sciences and in accordance with its own statutes.
The Society was founded on March 23, 2018 in Tallinn.
At the founding meeting, Jaak Jaagus, Marko Kaasik, Jüri Kamenik, Taimi Paljak, Ele Pedassaar-Poschlin, Piia Post (Chairperson), Kai Rosin and Tarmo Tanilsoo were elected as members of the Management Board. The term of office of the members of the Management Board shall be three years.
For the period 2021-2024, the Management Board was elected in the following composition: Piia Post (Chairperson), Kai Rosin, Kairo Kiitsak, Mait Sepp, Sven-Erik Enno, Helve Meitern, Ele Pedassaar, Tarmo Tanilsoo.

Members of the Estonian Meteorological Society pay the annual membership fee in the amount determined by the general meeting.
Since 2018, the membership fee is 20 euros, for students and pensioners 5 euros.
